AIIMS RISHIKESH

AIIMS Rishikesh was established in 2012 as a medical college, hospital and medical research public university. It was set up after the Government passed a bill in the parliament to establish 6 AIIMS institutes. AIIMS Rishikesh is on the same lines as AIIMS New Delhi as far as admission and selection criteria for academic programmes are concerned. The institute offers courses in medical and other related fields at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. AIIMS Rishikesh also offers courses in Nursing Science and Para-medical education. What students need to note is that admission to the courses is done through the institute’s popular medical entrance exams like AIIMS MBBS and AIIMS PG. The schedule for these entrance exams has already been released. It is mandatory for AIIMS aspirants to sit for the entrance exams in order to become eligible for admission at any of the AIIMS.
